Jac Lau is a singer, songwriter and artist. She has released her debut album titled "Befriend Emotions", which features five English songs that depict the singer’s emotions in depth. Jac has always been passionate about singing and aspired to become a professional singer. Inspired by friends who also shared their passion for music, Jac decided to work on her song demos and compiled them into her first album "Befriend Emotions," which was released in 2022.

 

Producing and releasing this album was a dream come true for Jac. She has always imagined seeing her album on the shelves while visiting CD stores. Successfully producing this album is a vital milestone in her singing career. The album includes five tracks, namely "A Song to My Heart," "No I can't fix it by myself," "I was astonished," "Oh I wish it's you," and "Nostalgia." Each track has a unique theme and message, such as reflecting on the difference between projected self and true self, releasing work pressure, reviewing past relationships, and gaining strength by asking questions to the universe. One of her songs "A Song to My Heart," ranked No. 4 on the RTHK Global Chart.
